Strucell
P is a rigid cross-linked closed-cell PVC structural foam material. Based on vinyl polymer, it is a modified foam material reinforced by an interpenetrating aromatic amide polymer network, making it an ideal core material for composite sandwich structures.
Strucell P
Products have been certified by GL, ABS, and DNV. Among them, the structural foam materials for rail vehicles have passed the German DIN 5510 combustion performance certification and the French NFF 16-101 fire test certification. Sports equipment products have obtained the European ROHS certification and the Swiss SGS certification.
Performance Characteristics:
● Density range: 60–200 kg/m³
● Closed-cell, cross-linked, rigid structure with excellent specific stiffness and specific strength.
● Outstanding fatigue resistance, high impact strength, low water absorption, and thermal insulation.
● Good flame retardancy.
● Resistant to moisture and mildew.
● Excellent dimensional stability and machinability, suitable for various sandwich structure manufacturing processes and compatible with multiple resin systems. Ideal as a lightweight, high-strength core material for composite sandwich structures.
● Processing temperature: -240 °C to +100 °C; long-term service temperature: -240 °C to +80 °C.
