Densified Fiber Core

Classification: Structural Core Materials

The U-PICA MAT ® exhibits excellent permeability with unsaturated polyester resin, capable of absorbing up to 55% of its weight in resin. After the resin cures, the mat's thickness remains unchanged.

Details

Product Features:

Excellent mechanical properties, featuring high specific stiffness, outstanding impact resistance, and fatigue resistance.

Good handleability and wettability, making it highly suitable for hand lay-up and spray-up processes.

Superior weight reduction; for every 1mm increase in laminate thickness, the resin consumption is approximately 600g/m².

Improves the surface appearance of finished products and can eliminate the fiber pattern from fiberglass and complex-shaped parts.

Enables rapid build-up of laminate thickness, saving operational time.
